Young Ruby Bridges was chosen to attend a white school in her area during the height of the civil rights movement. She bravely walked through crowds of protesters to attend school each day. In a classroom by herself, she excelled that year. The following year, she moved to a new classroom full of African-American and white students.

This 6-page, no-prep activity pack is a great way to introduce students to Ruby Bridges and her amazing acts of bravery.

All students need to complete this booklet are copies of each page, crayons, and a stapler. It doesn’t get any easier than this!

Just print each page on regular printer paper. Color each page, and then assemble them in the correct order to create a Ruby Bridges mini biography.
