Whether you’re celebrating Black History Month or Women’s History Month, these Ruby Bridges activities and printables will make a great addition to your studies.
February is Black History Month. One amazing person you can study with your kids this month is Ruby Bridges. At a time when white children and black children went to separate schools, Ruby Bridges made history.
This brave young lady was the first African American to attend an all white school in the south.

Ruby Bridges Activities and Printables
Even though the schools were integrated, the classrooms were not. Ruby was in a class all by herself.
For the entire school year, it was just Ruby and her teacher in the class. This brave young girl is a great person to celebrate during Black History Month.
Who is this pack for?
This printable activity pack is designed for kids in kindergarten through 2nd grade. A few of the pages (coloring page and handwriting practice) could be used with preschoolers, as well.
