30 Days of Dr Seuss Books Calendar
In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday coming up next month, I’ve put together this special calendar for you to use in your home or classroom. While Dr. Seuss’s birthday is in March, this Dr. Seuss book calendar can be used anytime of the year.
This calendar features thirty Dr. Seuss books for your kids to read or for you to read to them. Many of the books, such as The Cat in the Hat or How the Grinch Stole Christmas, will be familiar to your students.
However, some may not be familiar. Your kids might not have read or heard Hunches in Bunches or And to Think That I Saw it On Mulberry Street.
I encourage you to use this calendar to introduce your kids to a wide variety of Dr. Seuss stories. You can then transition write into a Dr. Seuss writing projects, Seuss-themed craft, or other hands-on Dr. Seuss activity.
Download this fun calendar, print it, and share it with your Seuss-loving students and fellow teachers. You can read them in order, or skip around however you’d like. Do what works best for you. The point is just to read and share the love!
Teaching Resources
If you’ll be reading 10 Apples Up on Top with your kids, check out these felt board puppets that are perfect for sequencing and retelling the story.
