Easter is almost here—and Turkey knows just how to celebrate. He’s going to win the eggstra-special Easter egg hunt! The only problem is that animals aren’t allowed to enter.
So he and his barnyard friends come up with a top-secret plan. With his trademark disguises and a whole lot of help, Turkey goes undercover. Will his basket of tricks help him win a prize?

These no-prep worksheets are designed to pair with Turkey’s Eggcellent Easter. So, get ready to have some fun with Turkey and his funny disguises!
With a theme of teamwork, this picture book by Wendi Silvano is sure to be a hit with your kids this time of year.
Turkey’s Eggcellent easter activities
To prepare these worksheets, all you’ve got to do is print the pages on printer paper and you’re all set!
You can make the reusable, if you’d like, by printing them on cardstock and laminating them for durability. Then, have kids complete the activities with a dry erase marker.
These pages can then be wiped clean and used over and over again.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THIS PACK?
• Story map: Kids can write or draw information to complete the story map. They’ll include information about the characters, the setting, the main events, and the conclusion.
• Parts of speech: Read the words in the Easter eggs. Use the color code to identify the words as nouns, verbs, or adjectives.
• Two writing prompts: Describe your favorite part of the story. Draw and describe the disguise they would wear if they were turkey.
• Handwriting practice: Trace letters and words and color the picture.
• Do-a-dot: Use dot markers to build the letter and color the picture.
• Syllables: Name each picture and circle the number of syllables.
• ABC order: Write six story-related words in alphabetical order.
• Sequencing: Cut and paste the costumes in the order Turkey wears them in the story.
