A great collection of books and activities to celebrate all month long! This March read aloud calendar is perfect for preschool and elementary classrooms.

Another month has come and gone. The end of February, however, means we’re inching our way to spring!

I’m back with another fun list of books and corresponding activities that is full of ideas for you and your students.

There are enough activities on this list to keep you and your kiddos entertained all month long!

March READ ALOUD CALENDAR

March is full of fun and quirky holidays in addition to the national holidays we celebrate each year – St. Patrick’s Day, the first day of spring, etc.

This book list {and printable read-aloud calendar} is a great resource to have on hand throughout the month.

Most of the books featured in this post can be found at your local library or used bookstore. If you have a hard time finding them, you can order them through my Amazon affiliate links by clicking the images below.

March IS…

• National Nutrition Month – Take time this month to learn about healthy eating, the food pyramid, and having a well-balanced diet.

March is also full of quirky holidays you can celebrate in your homeschool or classroom. Take a look at the books and activities featured below:

March 1 – National Pig Day

March 6 – Dentist’s Day

After reading The Berenstain Bears Visit the Dentist with your students, students will love brushing this tooth with glitter paint!
