Gingerbread man Read-Aloud
The first activity in this pack is a Gingerbread Man read-aloud. It includes a cover page and three pages of story. You can print these on two-pages back to back and staple in the top corner.
You can also print two to a page. Cut the pages apart and staple down the side to create a mini-book for your kids to read.

Gingerbread Man Word Search
Kids will enjoy hunting for gingerbread man vocabulary words with this one-page Gingerbread Man word search.
If you want to make the activity reusable, print it and laminate it. Then, let kids complete it with dry erase markers.
Once they’ve completed the activity, you can wipe it clean to be used again year after year.

Roll a Gingerbread Man Game
This gingerbread man game can be played individually or in small groups. All you’ll need is one instruction page per group, a dice for each player, and a game page for each player.
Print and laminate the instruction page. Provide one for each student or group participating.
Each child will roll a die and count the dots. Then, they’ll use the instruction page to determine which part of their gingerbread man to add to their gingerbread man game board.
The first person to complete his or her gingerbread man is the winner.

how to catch a gingerbread man writing
Print one writing page for each child. You can laminate this to make it reusable, if you’d like.
Children will write a short story telling how they’d catch the gingerbread man. You may print extra pages for those who need more writing space, or they can can continue writing on the back of the page.

Gingerbread Man Story Sequencing Pictures
This story sequencing activity is sure to be a hit with your kids! You can watch the gingerbread man activities video above to see it in action.
I suggest printing both pages on cardstock. It’s sturdier and more durable than printer paper, and your kids are going to have a blast retelling the story.
Follow the directions on the page to cut out the sequencing pictures, put the sequencing pictures in order, and then use the gingerbread man puppet to tell the story from beginning to end.
