Fluffy Snowman Craft for Kids
I love versatile crafts that can be paired with multiple books. This is one such craft. It’s a generic snowman that works will with all of your favorite snowman stories.
What You’ll Need
- Crayons
- Snowman template (enter your email in the form at the end of this post to download the template)
- Two popsicle sticks
- One large paper cup
- One medium paper cup
- Glue gun
- Pair of scissors
- Glue
- Cotton balls
- Pipe cleaner
What You’ll Do
Download the snowman template. Print and color the parts of the snowman, hat, and gloves.
Cut out all of the pieces after your child finishes coloring them.

Squeeze a line of glue around the bottom of the large paper cup. Now, stick the medium paper cup on the wet glue.

Put glue on the end of two popsicle sticks. Glue them to the back of the large paper cup. These will be the snowman’s arms and go stick out in any direction.

Now, for the fun part! Glue cotton balls all over both cups from top to bottom. Kids can glue full-sized cotton balls to the bups, or they can tear them apart and glue on smaller pieces.

Glue the paper pieces that you have cut from the template earlier. Add the snowman’s hat, buttons, carrot nose, eyes, and mittens.

Finally, give your snowman a scarf by loosely wrapping a few chenille stems around the snowman’s “neck”. Now, you have a fluffy snowman!
